Drone roof surveys: choosing the right inspection brief
A useful roof survey starts with the question you need answered. Drone photography can document visible roof features for a roofer or surveyor, but the scope must reflect the building, access and intended use of the results.
What to include in your enquiry
Provide the address, roof type and details of leaks, damage or maintenance concerns. If a surveyor or insurer has requested evidence, ask which images and report information they require before booking.
What affects the price?
Building size, the areas to capture, access, surrounding activity and requested outputs all affect the work. A clear brief allows an appropriate quote rather than an estimate based only on the property postcode.
What the images can tell you
Aerial photographs can show visible roof coverings, junctions and other accessible features. They cannot establish the condition of hidden materials. Specialist assessment and further access may be necessary.
Book an inspection
Our drone roof inspection page explains the service. Send the site address, preferred dates and the images or data you need through our project enquiry form. We will confirm the scope, availability, deliverables and price before you book.
